To prove this for the 847th friggin’ time, one must look no further than the recent legislative excrement regurgitated by the Senate, in a futile, but phony, attempt at some sort of immigration legislation.
This recent abomination of a bill, a product of a bipartisan effort of a few Senators, would effectively codify an open border, allowing a DAILY average of 5,000 encounters in a week…or 8,500 IN A SINGLE DAY. At those points, the President has the “authority”…not “requirement”…but “authority” to shut down the border.
Wow, who wrote the first draft of THAT legislative vomit, the drug cartels?
It’s like some state saying that…even though murder is illegal…we’re gonna allow 10 murders a month…but, boy oh boy, on that 11th murder…WE’RE GONNA REALLY CRACK DOWN!!!
Fact is, precisely no additional authority is needed, no money is needed…just the will to effing do it. Like Trump did. Biden can shut it down with the stroke of a pen, the same way he opened it.

So let me get this straight…we’ve had a million border encounters in the first four months of FY2024, which annualizes to a cool 3 million. This proposed legislation would green light….actually codify…almost 2 million.
Of course, the number of permissible illegal border crossings HAS to be zero. Not because I say it. You see, current laws on the books…not to mention the Constitution itself…REQUIRES the President to secure (i.e, CLOSE) the border and protect the homeland, thereby defending the citizenry against foreign invasion, and maintaining our country’s sovereignty.
The f*cking insanity of this is absolutely mind-numbing.
In the end, no bill is light years better than a shit bill. And this bill is a bigger pile of shit than you’d find in any homeless encampment in San Francisco.

Any moron knows the reason why we haven’t had any sort of major immigration legislation since 1986 under President Reagan. The prerequisite to ANY comprehensive immigration legislation is to first…FIRST…fully secure…SHUT DOWN…the border.
Before one syllable of legislation is drafted.
