I’d like to sincerely thank Hillary Clinton.  No, really.  You see, it’s just that I was grappling with what to write about this week.  So much liberal BS and media bias…so little time.  Like being overwhelmed with a zillion choices at the Chinese…uh, Asian…buffet.  Then, that ever elusive moment of clarity, courtesy of the Queen of Corruption herself, Hillary Clinton, and the following quote…“You know, just to be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic — you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric. Now some of those folks, they are irredeemable. But thankfully they are not America.”  Wow.  And she even forgot the part about how my mother wears army boots.

Without a doubt, her 47% moment.  But worse.  Way, way worse.

The screaming difference, of course, was the liberal media administering to Mitt Romney a daily enema of his own (& FAR less toxic) words in 2012.  That the Hillary cheerleaders in the mainstream media would almost completely ignore these vile comments of hers was as sure a bet as the bearded lady at the circus being single…and only reported it after Hillary’s faux apology.  A firestorm has inevitably ensued, and rightly so.  But let’s put this into context…Romney, at a private event in 2012, where someone bootlegged a video, made the following statement...“There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what … who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims. … These are people who pay no income tax. … and so my job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.” Call me crazy (and many do), but from where I’m sitting, that statement rates pretty darn high on the Truth-O-Meter.  Conversely, Hillary’s comments are off the charts offensive and insulting on their face.  But to what political end?  The Limousine Liberals in the crowd roared with laughter and approval, but this will not endear her to independents (already breaking for Trump in a pretty big way), and will further energize the already frenzied Trump crowd.

Hillary’s use of the word deplorable to describe Trump supporters is a real knee-slapper. What’s deplorable is an elitist politician who has been running for President for 25 years, been buried in an avalanche of scandals going back decades, lies as easily as she breaths (her constant coughing attacks notwithstanding), and is the absolute epitome of a corrupt politician.  And if not for friendly political forces, would be trading in her pants suit for a jump suit.  The money and power of politics is her crack, and she will lie, cheat, and steal to get her fix.  And has. Donald Trump certainly struck the right tone in his response to this trash, especially when he said, “Clinton divides people into “baskets,” as though they were objects, not human beings.  It was perhaps the most explicit attack on the American voter ever spoken by a major-party presidential nominee.”  Trump continues, “Clinton’s attack on voters ‘disqualifies her from public service.  You cannot run for president if you have such contempt in your heart for the American voter. And she does. You can’t lead this nation if you have such a low opinion of its citizens.”  Hillary must have taken “How To Insult The Electorate 101” from Professor Barry Hussein Obama, who in 2008 so arrogantly opined about Mid-Westerners, “They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”  Really, Christmas in September for the Trump campaign.  I suspect she will now be the proud recipient of that daily word enema, a la Mitt Romney…in her case, requiring an extra-large turkey baster.  OK, on second thought, maybe Thanksgiving in September.

And the cherry on top to all of this?  Spewing these vile remarks at a glitzy NYC fundraiser to a gaggle of Socialist wannabe one-percenters.  A rare moment of truth passing her lips that she cannot simply wash away with an insincere and incoherent apology…that is her true disdain for flyover country, that vast expanse of land that resides between the liberal elitist bookends of Manhattan and Malibu.  You know, the backbone of the nation comprised of patriotic, hard-working Americans who are simply mad as hell, and not going to take anymore of the lies, corruption, BS, and inaction coming from inside the beltway…and that Hillary so well represents.  And maybe, just maybe, Donald Trump, this blue-collar billionaire, not shackled by special interests, might have the chutzpah and wherewithal to torch the whole damn thing and yank us off the wrong track that polling consistently shows 70% of Americans believe we’re strapped onto like an out of control roller-coaster.  And political correctness be damned. Sounds pretty sweet to a deplorable, irredeemable, racist like me.
